I haven't played tennis in quite a bit, so I thought to myself, hey, this could be a good time to change the style in which I played. I used to play a conservative game, hitting things from the baseline, which didn't amount to anything too exciting.
The new style I'm trying to incorporate into my game sees me volleying the ball a lot more. The serve and volley is an old style, and not a lot of players use this playing technique anymore nowadays.
After one session trying to work out the kinks to this new way of playing, I can safely say this: it's tiring, but more satisfying. Especially when I succeeded in hitting more crisp winners than before. I look forward to trying to develop this into a deadly weapon, hopefully.
